When I was first approached about reviewing this book, I can admit I totally agreed because of the cover. I mean, look at it. It's simply gorgeous. Then when I read the synopsis, I knew I just had to read this book. And sadly, this book was a little bit of a disappointment for me.

The story follows alongside Savannah and Kent. Savannah has run away from him and has made a good life for herself. Though she doesn't see her family anymore, she's happy and finally feels free. But her bosses brother, Kent, always seems to get under her skin with his doughebag ways.

"How can I go from disliking him one second to wanting to be under or on top of him the next? One look from him is all it took to get my pulse racing."

He's never been kind to her and she's getting tired of the way he treats her. Kent despises lies and he can't stand Savannah. He thinks she has no personality and is just in general a boring person. That all changes when an accident happens and he's the only one there for her.

These two start to develop an amazing friendship and it begins to heat up with just a single touch. For me, there were just a couple things that I didn't like, and something that bothered me but I can't quite put my finger on. I felt like the story was a little rushed in some places but overall the story was good. By no means was this a bad story, if you enjoy new adult reads, I definitely recommend others read this one for yourself, to gather their own opinions.
