I literally read this book in one sitting! This is one of those stories that's just so good that you can't put it down until the very last page. From the very start of the book Piper and Lucas had me sucked right in. Each book in this series, when it ends I'm always dying to start the next one and dig into the next brother's story. Because these boys are set to kill me with feels.
Piper comes into town, expecting nothing but to visit a quant little town and see her brother for the summer. To escape her parents shadow, even for a little bit. But she finds herself at a bar, with a hot, annoying bartender hitting on her. The last thing she wants is this man. She knows his type. The annoying, I always get what I want, and don't take no for an answer. She has him pegged as a playboy and the town whore. Piper must avoid him at all cost but in a small town, it seems to be impossible, when at every turn...she bumps into him.
But each time, she keeps bumping into him...she sees a little bit more of him and maybe she judged him a little too harshly. Lucas is set to prove himself to Piper, that he isn't the man she thinks he is. And if she lets him in, she may just find a reason to stay in Wolf Creek.
Everything about this book is packed with a punch. The characters are so fun and I loved Piper's feisty personality. And all I can ever think of when I read these books, is how can I enter my own Wolf Creek and find myself a lumberjack. Cause...yum! Such a fun, sexy, steamy, rollercoaster of a read...that I highly recommend.
