Release Day + Review: Baby Yours by Kennedy Fox

Title: Baby Yours
Author: Kennedy Fox
Release Date: May 23rd, 2019
Genre: Contemporary Romance

The worst day of my life happened when Brandon died.
We had our entire future mapped out.
Careers, marriage, kids—in that order.
Then the universe threw a curveball and ended it all.

As I come to terms with everything, I learn I’m carrying his baby. Now I’m living with his roommate, the guy who’s made my life a living hell the past two years. Hunter’s now the one to hold me up when all I want to do is fall.

Knowing my religious parents will never accept the pregnancy out of wedlock, Hunter offers to be my fake husband. While I think he’s gone crazy, it’s the only plan that’ll keep them in my life. So I do whatever it takes to make our relationship believable—kissing, touching, even letting him hold me when we sleep. The lines are so blurred neither of us want to admit we’re no longer pretending.

The guilt of what we’re doing eats me alive as I struggle to deal with my emotions. I push him away, but he pulls me closer, showing me how he’s always felt.

Just as I begin to follow my heart, I learn Hunter’s been keeping secrets.
And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my life…

**This is book 2 in the Hunter & Lennon duet and must be read after Baby Mine. Recommended for ages 18+**

Nothing hits me right in the feels like a Kennedy Fox read. With my busy work schedule and life getting in the way, I sometimes forget how much I love to just sit and read. To just lose myself to a story and to characters that I beyond love. And with Baby Mine and Baby Yours, I remembered that love.

These characters are hurting. Hunter is still aching from losing his best friend and Lennon is hurting from losing her boyfriend. Now Lennon is pregnant and alone. She never thought she would be raising a kid alone but with Hunter, Lennon starts to not feel so alone. But she's conflicted with her feelings toward Hunter, what's right and what's wrong. Though nothing about Hunter feels wrong, she knows she can't.

"I didn't expect to feel anything when we practiced kissing, but I felt everything."

After he comes up with the plan to be her fake husband, they head back to Lennon's hometown, and set the fake relationship up. Fake it till you make it...right? Quickly though, the lines begin to blur and it's hard to tell if the kisses are really fake.

Hunter and Lennon held my heart this whole book. I cried with them, I laughed with, I watched Friends with them, and I loved with them. This book kept me all in the feels y'all and didn't let me go. I adored this story and can't wait to see more of them in the coming up books in this world.
