Finding Home
By. M. Andrews

"Even after all the darkness we have gone through together, I still love this woman more than anything in the world."

Finding Home is simply about that...finding a home. This short is so beautiful and so moving. I can admit that I read it several times and cried every single time.

Finding Home is a short that follows the life of Lucky and Ryder. These events are after their book Lucky Strike and deals with their struggles of not being able to get pregnant. These struggles push their boundaries and see just how much their marriage means to them.

But one cold December night, Ryder is leaving the precinct and comes across a young girl holding a baby. He quickly finds out that this young girl, had been kicked out by her mother and left on the streets with her newborn baby. Ryder decides to take them home with him and give them shelter for the night but that all changes when Lucky meets them.

Lily finds a home with Lucky and Ryder in the most beautiful way. This is a story about hope, family, and love. A story about life.

A Hypochondriac's Notebook
By A. M. Johnson

"Her tired eyes held fast to the sky, as the moon pulled apart her shores."

When A. M. Johnson sits down and puts words to paper...magic happens. It's like a fountain of words pour out of her and you never want it to turn off. Just let it overflow. That's exactly how you will feel while reading this short.

This short could be called nothing better than dealing with the struggles of life. Everything about this short deals with subject matter that we may suffer but don't talk about. We keep it locked away like a dirty little secret but it's okay to talk about it. It's okay to share your scars. They tell your stories of how you lived. How you were #Mighty.

Anna Josh is telling her life. She shares all the ups and downs. How life almost swallowed her whole and how she almost let it. Nothing is more beautiful than seeing someone rise from the ashes and that's exactly what this story is. A story of new beginnings, hope, and the will to live.

Regarding Ryker
By Anne Jolin

"The best kind of loves were the ones that grew from two people so at home in their own hearts that they moved only for something sweeter than their solitude."

Regarding Ryker is a Rock Falls Legacy prequel short story and follows alongside Ryker and Addison. Anne Jolin has written such a heartfelt short with this one. It will have you smiling, laughing, crying, and feeling all warm inside.

Ryker has always been in love with Addison but he's never actually told her. She's his best friend. He picks her up from school everyday and it's his favorite part of the day. It's what he looks forward to the most. Seeing her sweet face, smiling only for him.

But nothing ever comes easy in life. And life is always hard. Ryker knows his feelings for her aren't going to go away but he worries he will only damage her. These two are so cute and will move you in many ways.
