Looks can be deceiving.

I knew that most people took one look at the ink and the impossibly big and strong body it covered and decided I was a brawler…a bruiser…a beast. However, I was hardwired to be a thinker, not a fighter.

I should have chosen to use my brain and talents to be one of the good guys, a hero, a man with dignity and worth.

I turned my back on dignity and sold my soul to the highest bidder, deciding to dance with the devil, instead.

I couldn’t figure out how to help myself, so there was zero chance I knew how to save someone else.

That someone else was Noe Lee. She was the unkempt, unruly thief who was just as smart as I was and twice as street savvy. She was annoyingly adorable beneath the dirt and grime, and she was in trouble. In way over her head, I told myself it wasn’t my job to keep her from drowning. In the Point, it was sink or swim, and I wasn’t the designated lifeguard on duty.

I shut the door in her face, but now she’s gone…vanished…disappeared without a trace. It took less than a second for me to realize that I wanted her back.

When a woman comes along that melts all the frozen, hard things you’re made of; you’ll do anything you have to, to bring her home.

What you see is not always what you get…and with a man like me, what you get is more than anyone ever bargained for.

"He was all legend and myth. No one knew what the  real Snowden Stark was like or what he was about, but I'd gotten a glimpse when he dragged me to meet the Devil."

Honor was one of my favorite books EVER and when I saw that Jay was putting out another Breaking Point novel, I jumped on the chance to get this bad boy. Honor instantly became one of my all time favorite books and my favorite by Jay so I couldn't wait to dive into Dignity. And let me tell you ladies and gentlemen...this book! *sigh* *drool* *fainting* Pretty much describes me the whole time reading. Nobody knows how to write a bad boy like this lady does.

"I hated things I didn't understand. I didn't have the patience or time to be confused and conflicted. I wanted to fall back to the floor. I wanted to scream at the ceiling. I wanted to rip my shirt off and beat my chest like a wild animal. I felt like I was being consumed by every ugly thing twisting up my insides."

Dignity is about a boy genius, Snowden Stark and a little thief , Noe Lee. These two are a riot of brains and passion. Stark is a boy genius, he's a legend and there isn't anything that he can't hack into. The government wants him but can't have him. He has no problem with the job that he does in the Point. He enjoys what he does but he's a robot without a heart. That is until a little thief breaks into his place and steals some things. But Stark isn't upset, he's utterly impressed that she got passed his firewall. He may be even a little turned on.

"I couldn't figure out Snowden Stark, and it concerned me how much I wanted to tinker with all his pieces to figure out how he worked. They said he was a robot, but they were wrong. He was something far more complex."

Noe hasn't had an easy life. She's been from tunnel to tunnel, street to street, hideout to hideout...never feeling safe or at home living on the streets. But it's all she's ever known and the only place she knows that no one will hurt her. That is until she needs the help of a certain boy genius. These two find themselves getting involved in all kinds of mischief and desperately hungry for each other. They are exactly what they never knew they needed in each others lives.

"I'd been born to be one of the best, but I was broken. With her, I was something in between those two things, and for the first time in my life, I wondered if I had found what 'normal' looked like."

I couldn't put this book down and craved Jay's words. I always have the worst book hangover after finishing one of her books because nobody tells a story quiet like this lady does. The dynamic between Stark and Noe had my body covered in chills and smiling from ear to ear. I loved every inch of this story and I can't wait to read more in this series.
