I'm a sucker for a good rock star. A sexy rock star is my addiction and I'm not ashamed of it! So when I heard that Kacey was doing a rock star series, I knew I had to jump on the chance to read this book.
Lexi and Trent are all about that rock star life. Lexi was raised in it and Trent has been playing for years. Trent's band Three Ugly Guys are in need of an opening act for their tour and when their manager says that they are getting a woman...the men freak. They don't want a woman on their tour and Trent hates girl singers.
But they are in for a shock when they meet Lexi. They immediately know who she is, the daughter of a rock legend. She doesn't want anyone to know who she is and plans on keeping it that way. Lexi wants to get famous from her talent...not based on who she is related to.
3UG and Lexi hit it off. She's feisty, doesn't take any crap from the guys, and loves what she does. She's always loved music and now she gets to live in it every day. She quickly realizes that Trent may be a manwhore at it's finest but he cares for Lexi. He tries to be there for her no matter how hard she pushes her away.
These two were hot, hot, hot, together and I loved them. Though at the beginning I had a little bit of a hard time connecting with the characters because I found Lexi a little bit annoying but she got better over the course of the book and so did Trent. There characters development was so much fun to read and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Kacey Shea is a mom of three, wife, and indie author who resides in sunny Arizona. She enjoys reading and writing romance novels as much as her son loves unicorns, which is a lot.
When she's not writing you will find her playing taxi cab to her children while belting out her favorite tunes, meeting friends or family for food and to share some laughs, or sweating it out in the gym. She has an unhealthy obsession with firefighters. It could be the pants. It could be the fire. It's just hot. On occasion she has been known to include them, without their knowledge, in her selfies outside the grocery store.
Kacey one day aspires to be a woman hand model in a sexy photo shoot. You know, the woman's hand raking across the muscular back or six pack stomach of the male fitness model. Yep, that hand.
Until that day comes she will continue writing sexy, flirty romance novels in hopes to bring others joy!
