From New York Times bestselling author Kylie Scott comes the second sizzling stand-alone novel in the Dive Bar series! Alex Parks is funny, fascinating, and pretty much everything he's been looking for in a woman—except that she lives across the country. Soon they're emailing up a storm and telling each other their deepest, darkest secrets...except the one that really matters. When Alex pays Joe a surprise visit, however, they both discover that when it comes to love, it's always better with a twist.

"We were a car crash, a catastrophe."

You can never go wrong with a Kylie Scott book in my opinion. Her books are always so fun and sexy. Filled with hot tattooed men. And what's better than a hot tattooed man..tending bar?  I absolutely loved Dirty, so I jumped at the chance to read this bad boy. And it definitely didn't disappoint.

"The dude was like hot bigfoot. Huge and muscular with a golden mane flowing down and a beard covering half his face. I guess it kept him warm in the winter, but who needed that much hair?

Alex has never really had the best of luck when it came to the dating world. She's always been hurt or just let down. It's never been easy for her. So when she starts a dating profile, she thinks it's her last resort but to her surprise, she actually mets a man. A funny, sexy, beautiful man...that understands her. Alex finds herself lost in this man and everything about him. They connect. She looks forward to talking with him everyday. They both find themselves lost in each other and their back and forth conversation. The only downside is, they live across the country.

"I was just one more stupid girl dreaming of love and a life that was somehow larger."

That all changes though when Alex gets the idea to go down and visit him on his birthday. What a surprise right? Think again. Little does she know she's about to get the surprise. The man she thinks she's been talking to is not the man at all. It's the brother. The bearded brother. Alex is in denial and utter shock. She can't believe this is happening to her.

"It's harder to ignore a mostly naked man than you'd think."

Joe never meant to hurt Alex, he meant to log his manwhore of a brother out of the dating site because he wasn't interested. But he found himself drawn to Alex and how easy it was to talk with her. He's previously been hurt in this sucky  love world, so he enjoys her conversation. But he never thought he would be standing in front of her...face to face.

"The man was insatiable. But hey, when it came to him, so was I. We were a perfect lusty match."

He knows he has a lot of explaining to do but he wants her. He wants her friendship. Joe has come so accustomed to having her in his life...he can't imagine not talking to her. But Alex was blindsided, she was lied to. And Joe isn't really her type. You know, the beard and all. Can Alex push back the lie to see Joe is still the same man she's been talking to for all these months or will she be lost to the lie?

"It was my time to step forward and be brave. When it came to Joe Collins, I was more than ready to say yes."

Twist is so good and so much fun! I soaked up every word of this book and never wanted it to end. Joe and Alex were so exciting to read. Seeing their story unfold and their priceless reactions to life were gold. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series Chaser.

"When it came to Joe Collins, my p*ssy was a wanton whore."
