She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him. Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on. And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. I've always been a sucker for a sexy baseball player. Okay...who am I kidding, I'm a sucker for a sexy anything. And Bromberg delivers with this bad boy. I'm normally not a cover buy person but this cover sold me right off the bat. And then after reading the synopsis, I knew I had to read this book. It was everything and so much more.

I read this book in almost one sitting because I couldn't put down my kindle. I had to know what was going to happen to these characters and what secrets they were hiding behind. This story unravels so well and seeing the characters grow throughout the story is something that I always love to see.

After Easton suffers from a baseball injury, he hopes and prays that his baseball career isn't over. It's all he's ever known and he's not ready to give it up. Though sometimes he thinks he only used to play for his father...the legend...he loves the game. He needs the game.

He's determined to get back to the field and he knows Doc is going to help him. But that all changes when Doc isn't greeting Easton...but his daughter Scout is. Easton thinks it's a joke, there is no way that a women could be able to do what he needs. But he's met his match with Scout.

She's ready to get him back on the field, a player that plays baseball as well as he does deserves to be on the field. And it's her job to get him back to 100% no pressure...right? This job proves to be difficult for Scout but she's determined to do her job and treat him like a player. And not the sexy man that he is.

These two are thrust into each others lives in the most unfortunate of ways but it may turn out to be the best thing to ever happen to them.

Scout and Easton are so much fun to read. I absolutely loved their story and found myself lost in their world. And I can't wait to see what happens to them next.
