"He poisoned her and she craved his venom."
Body of the Crime is the second book in the Blackest Gold series and it most definitely didn't disappoint. Tensley and Molly are back at it.
Molly is anything but human and she's come to terms with it now. It may not be what she wants but she knows she can't change it. And she has to learn to accept that her life isn't her own anymore. She belongs to Tensley Knight...her demon. Her future husband.
In Body of the Crime everything seems to finally be coming together from Vein of Love. In the first book so much is revealed and explained and in the second book, so much gets done. I loved seeing the progression of the characters and their growth. It was astounding.
"She didn't need a weapon. She was the weapon."
Molly has become strong and powerful. She's finding herself in a new world and she's full of so much power that hasn't been unleashed yet. And Tensley is waiting to see her strength, her power, and her love.
These two have a passion that ignites the page and fuels your fangirl heart. These two are everything to each other...even though they may not want to admit it. They need each other. They feed off each other.
"He was the predator. And I was his prey."
These two are a hot fiery passion and I highly recommend reading this book. It must be read after Vein of Love though or it will mess you all up. I had so much fun reading these books...sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. And I can't wait for the next book.
These two are the beauty and love that they need in their life...they just don't see it yet. Or don't want to admit it. Being a demon and all.
R. Scarlett lives in a small quaint town in Southern Ontario, Canada and has an unhealthy obsession with mythology and romance.
From studying English literature and minoring in History, she loves losing herself in a good book and snuggling up to her Brittany Spaniel. When she's not writing or plotting a delicious novel, she can be found hanging out with friends and family, going on long car rides, exploring small towns, or watching reruns of Sex and the City.
More in the series!
