It all started at a dinner party. . .

A domestic suspense debut about a young couple and their apparently friendly neighbors—a twisty, rollercoaster ride of lies, betrayal, and the secrets between husbands and wives. . .

Anne and Marco Conti seem to have it all—a loving relationship, a wonderful home, and their beautiful baby, Cora. But one night when they are at a dinner party next door, a terrible crime is committed. Suspicion immediately focuses on the parents. But the truth is a much more complicated story.

Inside the curtained house, an unsettling account of what actually happened unfolds. Detective Rasbach knows that the panicked couple is hiding something. Both Anne and Marco  soon discover that the other is keeping secrets, secrets they've kept for years.

What follows is the nerve-racking unraveling of a family—a chilling tale of  deception, duplicity, and unfaithfulness that will keep you breathless until the final shocking twist.

This. Book.
There are hardly even the right words to describe how amazing this book truly was. I've always been a sucker for a good thriller but I'm a true sucker for a book that can trip me up. And this was one of those books. I found myself questioning everyone and thinking that everyone was guilty. Those are the best kinds of books in my opinion. They keep you on your toes.

Anne is married to Marco. Marco and Anne have beautiful daughter and her name is Cora. They have a pretty good life. Or at least that's what they thought. One night they are at a dinner party next door, having an okay night with some friends. Or more like used to be friends.

They quickly realize that a hazardous crime has been committed that night and nobody has seen anything. And nobody knows anything. The detectives have there work cut out for them that's for sure. And everyone is a suspect.

The Couple Next Door will through you for loops that you never saw coming. Twists that will twist you all up and have you biting all your finger nails off. Maybe even smirking while reading because you know the story is just too good to be true.

Everything about this book had me in it's grasps and I still can't get it out of my head. It's one of those books that I know will stick with me for years to come. I highly recommend this book if you love a good, twisted thriller.
