Is this love or just a game?Tori Rivera thinks Jamie McCade is rude, arrogant, and worst of all . . . the sexiest man she's ever laid eyes on. His reputation as a player is almost as legendary as his surfing skills. No matter how her body heats up when he's around, she's determined not to be another meaningless hookup.

Jamie McCade always gets what he wants. The sickest wave. The hottest women. And Tori, with her long legs and smart mouth, is definitely the hottest one. He knows Tori wants him-hell, most women do-but she won't admit it. After months of chasing and one unforgettable kiss, it's time for Jamie to raise the stakes.

Jamie promises that soon Tori won't just want him in her bed, she'll be begging for it-and he might be right. Somehow he's found the spot in her heart that makes her open up like never before. But with all she knows about his past, can she really trust what's happening between them? Is Jamie playing for keeps or just playing to win?

This book can be read as a stand-alone. Book 1--Four Letter Word

"A bet is a bet. And last I checked, we were still playing."

Jamie and Tori. Loser and Legs. Where do I begin with these two? Anything by J.Daniels is always waiting to be in my hands but I wasn't mentally prepared for the slaying this book was going to give me. Hit The Spot instantly became my favorite book of hers and it holds that spot proudly.

Tori wants nothing to do with Jamie aka the Loser. He's a horrible person who degrades woman and loves to lose himself in them. She's disgusted by him. But she can't help that he is gorgeous. So freaking beautiful. Ugh, why couldn't he have been hideous. Then it would have been a lot easier to hate him.

No matter how many times she gives him the "Loser special" he keeps coming back, even though he doesn't know about that special. Tori is always mean to him, always telling him not to call her Legs but he continues to come no matter what hateful thing she tries to do or say.

Jamie won't give up until he gets what he wants. Even though he's not used to women not tripping over themselves to get to him...he has to have her. She's all he can think about and that's not changing anytime soon. Legs is going to be his.

"Jamie was beautiful. He was cocky. He was unashamed. He was over-the-top pigheaded and spoke like a Neanderthal wielding a club. And he was beautiful. It sucked. Seriously."

So Jamie decides to show Tori that she really does want him by starting a bet. A bet to see who will cave first in attacking each other (attacking seems like a fitting word for them). Tori knows she will never cave but Jamie is betting that she will. He's counting on it.

Though Tori tries to hide her feelings from Jamie, she knows that he can see right through her. He sees everything when it comes to her and knows how she feels without her saying a word. He always knows what she needs. He may be a Loser but she wants nothing more than for him to be her Loser. But she will never tell him that.

"He looked like sex and secrets. This was bad. And I needed it."

The feelings these two have for each other, explode all over the page. Get ready to fan your cheeks because Jamie and Tori are nothing less than hot...HOT. They may have a lot to overcome to finally give into each other but that's not stopping them from trying.

"Jamie coated my mouth. He tasted like watermelon gum and regretful decisions. And I loved it."

Tori doesn't want to get hurt again and Jamie just wants her. He doesn't care how he gets her, he just NEEDS her. Needs her like he needs air. These feelings scare him because he never thought he would feel them but he is...and he can't stop them.

He doesn't want to stop them...he loves her but he needs her to admit her feelings for him. She knows in her heart how she feels and she knows that Jamie knows but she just can't give herself completely over to him. For one reason and one reason only, the fear of getting hurt and she knows, she is bound to get hurt by someone like Jamie. A surfer, manwhore, and Loser...a beautiful Loser.

"Jamie knew I loved him even when I couldn't say it. And even when I wouldn't. That was our game."

Will Jamie and Tori finally get over themselves and admit how they feel for each other? Or are they both too high on the game...the feel of the chase?

     J. Daniels has killed me with Hit The Spot and I'm still thinking about this Loser. Everything in this book is perfection. From page one to the last page, I was sucked in and I never wanted to leave. I look forward to more in the Dirty Deeds Series and always new worlds from the lady herself.
