Review: BEAUTIFUL SECRET by Christina Lauren + GIVEAWAY

Synopsis:

AN UPTIGHT BRITISH EXECUTIVE. AN ADVENTUROUS AMERICAN NEWBIE. A SEXY INTERNATIONAL SCANDAL IN THE MAKING.

New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling author Christina Lauren’s Beautiful and Wild Seasons series hook up in Beautiful Secret for an erotic intercontinental romp that celebrates the best of both worlds!

When Ruby Miller’s boss announces he’s sending her on an extended business trip to New York City, she’s shocked. As one of the best and brightest young engineers in London, she knows she’s professionally up to the task. The part that’s throwing her is where she’ll be spending a month up close and personal working alongside—and staying in a hotel with—Niall Stella, her firm’s top urban planning executive and The Hottest Man Alive. Despite her ongoing crush, Ruby is certain Niall barely knows she’s alive…until their flirty overnight flight makes him sit up and take notice.

Not one for letting loose and breaking rules, recently divorced Niall would describe himself as hopeless when it comes to women. But even he knows outgoing California-girl Ruby is a breath of fresh air. Once she makes it her mission to help the sexy Brit loosen his tie, there’s no turning back. Thousands of miles from London, it’s easy for the lovers to play pretend. But when the trip is over, will the relationship they’ve built up fall down?

Christina Lauren have done it once again! Every time I get a new book in the Beautiful Series I say this is my favorite. First was Bennett, then was Max, then of course Will stole the show, and now it's no surprise that Niall has absolutely bewitched me! Beautiful Secret is officially my favorite in the series.
If you guys are familiar with my reviews, well you know that British guys are my weakness and I live for sexy British accents on super hot guys.

The first thing we know about Niall is that he is Max's little brother and we met him briefly in Beautiful Beloved, you can read my review for that here

So of course I was expecting a smoking hot Stella brother, funny moments and lots of hot sex, cause well come on... It's Christina Lauren we are talking about here!
Niall was everything I wanted, and didn't even know it. He was definitely not what I was expecting but yet he was perfect.
Niall is coming off a tough divorce from the woman he's been married to since forever, Portia was all he knew and now that it's ended he is left to figure out what's next. He is not sure that he will be able to open his heart to someone else that easily in the future. Niall is guarded and he has not really moved on.

Ruby, like all the girl protagonists Christina Lauren bring to us, is a successful, smart, strong young woman with a bright future ahead of her. She is in London on an internship, and she happens to work in the same company as Niall. Ruby has been nursing a crush on Niall for quite sometime though she hasn't really registered on Niall's radar at all.
In a unexpected turn of events Ruby ends up assigned to take a month long trip to New York City to accompany Niall on a business trip, and it's here when things get interesting.

By the time they get to NYC, Niall is very much aware of Ruby and Ruby's crush has only gotten worse being around him so much. In the beautiful series we are used to the all consuming attraction that leads up to amazing sex and ultimately to amazing relationships. With Niall and Ruby things are not quite the same. Niall hasn't moved on, and his marriage falling apart after so many years has left him wounded and cautious, while on the other hand Ruby is the kind of girl that takes the bull by the horns and is very open about her feelings. So things start slow, though hot! I have to admit that at one point the sexual tension between these two, was more than overwhelming!

I felt this was a different kind of story, than the ones we've had in previous installments, only because none of the other guys have been what I would consider damaged, but Niall most definitely is.
There are tribulations that they must overcome by trusting each other and being willing to work on things and just plain out love each other. Niall is not quite there though.
He is sometimes frustrating, I found he pushed Ruby away to often, when he really just needed to give things a chance and see what would happen. My heart broke so many times for Ruby, cause it was just a tough situation to be in. Ruby was understanding and forgiving because she knew what he had gone through with the divorce. But everyone has their limits and at one point Niall makes decisions that could very well cost her Ruby's love for good.

You can't help but hurt for Niall, he lets you into his head and you can see really how much damage married life and his ex-wife had inflicted on him, but while you understand it's hard not to want him to snap out of it and try to rebuild his love life by letting the one person that's willing to love him the way he is in.
I think you will enjoy following their journey in learning to trust and love each other and leaving both their pasts behind them.

Christina Lauren are two of my favorite authors, they are most definitely in my list of automatic buys whenever I see a new release coming, and Beautiful Secret was no different.
It was just the right amount of funny and hot and the right amount of conflict and love.
You will find yourself not being able to put this down, and by time you are done, you will be hopelessly in love with Niall Stella.
