Review: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

So, as some of you probably know, I'll be attending YALLfest with Sasha (@theshadowhunters), Carmen (@homeofnephilim), Katie (@ktt13), and Carolina (@someinfinites), plus Gabby who's too cool for instagram. Leading up to that glorious trip, I'm going to be reading a TON of authors that will be heading to YALLfest, too. So get excited, lots of fun stuff to come!

First on my list is Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.

Shatter Me takes place in the future, as many of my favorite books do. I'm not sure if its a pretty picture (okay it's not), but if Adam's there - I want to go. Our main character, Juliette, has a disease, or a gift, or.. well, I haven't decided yet what it is. But anyone she touches gets the gift of extreme pain whether she wants them to or not.
Except... him.
Sounds cheesy right? Wrong. What if he wasn't what he seemed? What if he wasn't the only one? A girl who's never been able to touch - to be touched, is finally able to feel, and not just with her imagination. How will this change her? Will she decide to embrace her "differences" or will they be the death of her?
Shatter me is a gorgeously written story of someone who's always been called crazy, sick, or worse her entire life. It's a story of heroism, of love, and of believing in more than you can see.
It's a story of death, destruction, strength, and new beginnings.
I think everyone can relate to the characters in the book, and can only hope to find their very own Adam (aka prince charming).

I highly suggest you check it out, I can't wait to read the next two books in the trilogy!

Stay Tuned for pictures and more from YALLfest with Tahereh Mafi!
Next on the list? Legend by Marie Lu!

As always, here's some buy links for you guys!
