Let me start off by saying, this was only my second book to read by R. S. Grey. My first book was Chasing Spring and though it was perfect and I loved every page, it didn't ooze the humor that everyone always talks about with her books. So, when I heard about this one, simply intrigued by the book title, I jumped on the chance to read and review. And let me tell you...I FELL IN LOVE! 

"He was holding my head under water, and I didn't drown, didn't break. I grew gills." 

This book was everything I needed and more. I devoured in one sitting. Who needs to drink and eat, when you can read. Right? Right. Arrogant Devil follows the story of Meredith and Jack. Meredith is tired of her life. She needs a new life. And that's exactly why she runs off to Texas. Hoping her sister will help her out, she runs to a ranch. The last place she thought she would be but exactly what she needs. 

"Her eyelashes sparkle as small beads of water catch the light, highlighting the bluest pair of eyes I've ever seen, a blue so vibrant it looks electric, like the sky right before a thunderstorm." 

Jack works hard on his family's ranch and though it wasn't where he imagined himself being in the long run, he's happy. And his family's ranch is thriving. So when his assistant leaves for a vacation and he hears that her sister is going to be helping him, he is less than thrilled. Knowing she's a spoiled brat, he's prepared to hate her. But the last thing he expects is to fall in love. 

"I even find it all a little hilarious- I escape from hell just to run right into the arms of the devil." 

Jack is anything but nice to Meredith, but she knows how to fight back. And these two were a riot. I loved every page of this book. There wasn't one thing I would change. I found myself laughing out loud, laughing so hard that tears were streaming down my cheeks and smiling till I couldn't feel my face. R. S. Grey packs a punch when it comes to humor and I am addicted. And I look forward to reading more of her books.
