Brooke and Lyra aka Kennedy Fox, have outed themselves and I couldn't be any happier about it. These ladies write some of the best romance books under their secret name but now they have come out and put this fabulous book out in their own names...and let me tell you it doesn't disappoint. These two mean business when it comes to hot men, strong female characters, and melting panties one pair at a time.

I had been highly anticipating this book ever since I saw the cover of this hottie and knowing who was writing it. I knew I was going to be drooling all over the pages and that's exactly what I did. My kindle will thank me later. I adored this book...every single word.

Vada had booked a nice week at a small southern house to get away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago to finish her book. She's on a deadline and she just can't get in the zone to write the words. So she knows a secluded week away will do just the trick but the last thing she expected was to find a hot, shirtless, bad boy...renting the place out to her for the week. Drool seems to fall out of her mouth at the sight of him but when he opens his mouth it's all over. He's got the bad boy, dirty talking down to a T or is Vada's find just warped from all the dirty writing she does.

Ethan is a one night stand kind of guy and likes his privacy. But in a small town...that always seems to be lacking. He has a dark past one that defines and consumes him. But the last thing he expected was for Vada Collins to consume his mind. It's not what he wants or needs or at least he thought. But he finds the greatest of joy in messing with Vada and loving how she gives it right back to him. Or turns bright tomato red. I found myself laughing till I cried many a time at his antics.

The struggles that we unfortunately have to face, the hope we see day to day even though we may not want to see it, and the happiness to find even in the smallest of things.

Lyra and Brooke have written such an amazing, fun, sexy, tear-jerker, laugh out loud, melt your panties, scream out perfect read. This book touches on a little bit of everything and it freakin' perfect.
