Corinne Michaels never disappoints with her writing. Her stories capture you wholly and enrapture you into this Bell Buckle world. Nothing is better than a sexy cowboy and Michaels writes it like a boss. Trent's and Grace's story will be stuck with me for years to come. Their story is so real and makes you think about the reality that is life.
You all know that I am a long time fan of Corinne Michaels books. You can read my reviews of Say You’ll Stay, Say You Want Me, Defenseless and the Consolation duet, if you’re so inclined! I couldn’t wait to dive into another Hennington man’s story. I have to say that Trent’s story was a bit hard for me at first. Not Trent himself but the love triangle. I want so badly for everyone to end up with a HEA and knowing that one of these amazing men wouldn’t get the woman he wanted made me SO sad! Please, please, please write that story for him Corinne? Kay, thanks!

Okay, now that that part is out of the way let’s talk about Corinne’s ability to take you on an adventure you weren’t sure you would love! She has done it again you guys. She’s created a story that had my palms sweating, my heart racing, had me laughing and crying. I don’t know how this woman manages to pack so many emotions into just one book. Yet she does it, time and time again. Trent is tortured by something that no one can figure out and he’s let it hold him back from committing to the one woman he’s let into his heart.
“She’s the girl I love. The girl I’ve always loved but was too stupid to hold on to.”
Grace has waited 20 years for Trent to make their relationship his priority. She’s tired of waiting for him to get his sh** together. It’s time to move on. Grace decides dating her best friends brother, whom she had a crush on when she was younger. He’s sweet, kind and treats her like she’s the center of his universe. But can her heart stop loving Trent and let go of the past?

Living in small town Belle Buckle, it’s hard to avoid anyone for too long. When her past and present collide which man will ultimately win her heart? You'll have to read to find out. If you love a good strong country boy, I highly recommend you pick up these books. If you haven't started this series of standalone second chance romances I suggest starting with Say You'll Stay. Each book can be read on its own, but I always find I get more from the story when I start at the beginning. The books have character overlap which may spoil part of the other stories for you. Corrine never fails to delivery on the FEELS. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
