Cassandra Clare reveals New Trilogy 'The Last Hours'!
If you’re an avid reader of Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter Chronicles, you would understand the long wait to find out what ‘TLH’ stands for! All of our minds were going crazy with guessing. I’ve seen ‘The Last Herondale’ (which was also my guess), ‘The Last Hero’, ‘The Lost Hero’,… you get the point!
Turns out, it’s a NEW trilogy in the Shadowhunter Chronicles called ‘The Last Hours’! This trilogy will be released after her next series called ‘The Dark Artifices’. Though the dates for TDA have not been released, it is safe to assume it won’t be published for another year or two – which also means we are all going to be significantly older by the time all of these finish!
Who all is excited to read more about Tessa, Will, and Jem?
Here’s a little information on the characters in ‘The Last Hours’ trilogy! (Credit to Cassandra Clare’s Tumblr!)
Cordelia Carstairs. Bit of a scapegrace and ever since she was ten she’s had a sort of a crush on
James Herondale, who is parabatai with
the always-delightful Matthew Fairchild, and has a very odd relationship with Tatiana’s Blackthorn’s ward
Grace Blackthorn, whose brother Jesse Blackthorn may or may not be dead
a mystery that occupies the busy brain of writer
Lucie Herondale, whose father would really prefer she marry
Alastair Carstairs, Cordelia’s older brother. Shown with Cortana — looks like Elias did as Tessa suggested and passed it down to his own children after all.Alastair is best friends with
Charles Fairchild, who you may remember as Potentially Buford from Clockwork Princess. Charles would like to be the next Consul, alas, and Henry finds he rather gets along better with Cecily and Gabriel’s sonwho is the younger brother of the ever so sophisticatedAnna Lightwood.
